A South African address for the pages that change with it. Takealot stock and delivery, Google.co.za rankings for Johannesburg versus Cape Town, ad campaigns bought for South African audiences. The local version of your own product with rand pricing and SAST timestamps. Market research from Europe sees an export view of all of this, and sometimes nothing at all.
South Africa proxies with ISP, residential and mobile IPs
South African IPs in three forms. ISP static addresses sold at country level from $3 a month. Residential Turbo and Flex traffic from $2 a GB. About 930 mobile addresses on South African carriers from $4 a GB. No datacenter IPv4 for South Africa.
Google takes 91.75% of South African search, Takealot leads online retail with 6.2 million active customers, and twelve official languages mean one page has many local versions.
Static South African IPs registered to local providers, sold at country level, from $3 a month.
Carrier-issued South African addresses, about 930 in the pool, rotating or sticky, from $4 a GB.
South African home IPs on Turbo and Flex, city and ASN targeting, sticky sessions, from $2 a GB.
Why GeekProxy:
-
[ South Africa proxy for Takealot and Temu ]
Takealot passed $1 billion in revenue and 6.2 million active customers in 2026, with Temu, Shein and Amazon pushing in; all localise by address.
-
[ SERP tracking on Google.co.za ]
Google holds 91.75% of South African search (Statcounter, September 2026), higher than in Canada or the Netherlands; Johannesburg and Cape Town get different local packs.
-
[ Mobile IPs on Vodacom, MTN and Telkom ]
Vodacom, MTN (AS16637) and Telkom (AS37457) carry most South African mobile traffic; our pool held about 930 addresses on 29 October 2026.
-
[ NAPAfrica peering in Johannesburg ]
Teraco's NAPAfrica in Johannesburg passed 5 Tbps in February 2025 with about 655 networks, the largest exchange in Africa; South African exits stay local.
-
[ Ad verification and app testing in SAST ]
South Africa runs on UTC+2 all year with no daylight saving; campaigns bought for Gauteng render to a South African address only.

Three. ISP static IPs from $3 a month, sold at country level without a city choice. Residential Turbo and Flex from $2 a GB, with city, ZIP and ASN filters on Flex. Mobile addresses on South African carriers from $4 a GB, about 930 on 29 October 2026. No datacenter IPv4 for South Africa. ISP for logged-in accounts, residential for volume, mobile for the strictest targets.
-
An ISP address is from $3 a month per IP, 30-day minimum, cheaper per address in larger batches. Residential Turbo starts at $2 a GB, Flex at $3 a GB; both drop with volume. Mobile traffic is $4 a GB. One balance covers all of it, so two static South African IPs plus 10 GB of mobile traffic is a single top-up.
-
ISP addresses are country-level only; there is no Johannesburg or Cape Town pick on that product. For a city, a province or a carrier use Residential Flex: country, region, city, ZIP and ASN filters, so MTN AS16637 in Gauteng is a setting. Turbo takes the country and rotates across South African exits. Mobile is country-level per connection.
-
ISP addresses are static for the rental period, minimum 30 days, same IP on extension. Residential Turbo and Flex rotate by default and both support sticky sessions; Flex sets the session lifetime in minutes and filters Windows or Android exits. Mobile addresses change as Vodacom or MTN reassign them and can be held sticky.
-
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 with the same credentials. UDP runs on ISP addresses and Residential Turbo; Flex is TCP only. Mail ports exist on Residential Turbo alone, after a word with support. Infrastructure logs are kept up to three months, traffic content is not logged.
-
About ten seconds after payment the South African IPs or residential credentials are in the dashboard, without a human in the loop. A port that does not answer, an address that resolves outside South Africa or throughput far below spec is refunded within 24 hours. The 30-day minimum applies to ISP rentals.

POPIA has been fully in force since July 2021, enforced by the Information Regulator, which has already issued enforcement notices over direct marketing. The proxy is just the address; if you collect personal information of South African residents, you are the responsible party under POPIA. Price checks, rankings and testing your own product are outside its scope.
