Seeing Botswana the way residents do. Operator bundle prices in pula, Orange Money payment screens, local Google and Bing results and regional ad campaigns all respond to a Botswana address. Telecom analysts track tariffs this way, while agencies check that campaigns for Gaborone or Francistown actually render there. QA teams confirm their app works for customers on Orange, Mascom or BTC.
Botswana proxies on residential and mobile IPs
We cover Botswana with Residential Turbo and Flex traffic from our 187-country pool and about 120 mobile addresses on local carriers. ISP static and datacenter IPs are not offered for this country.
Three operators share a market of roughly 2.5 million people. Orange holds 46%, Mascom 40% and BTC 14% by BOCRA's 2025 figures. Prepaid is 96% of subscriptions.
Botswana mobile addresses on Mascom, Orange and BTC, about 120 in the pool, rotating or sticky, from $4 a GB.
Botswana home IPs on Turbo and Flex, city and ASN targeting, sticky sessions, from $2 a GB.
Why GeekProxy:
-
[ Botswana proxy for tariff tracking ]
Orange cut its prepaid data rate from P0.99 to P0.69 per MB in 2025; operator promos and bundle pages show local prices to local IPs.
-
[ Mobile IPs on Orange, Mascom and BTC ]
Orange Botswana runs AS36963, Mascom AS37014 and BTC AS14988, so a Flex ASN filter keeps a test on one network.
-
[ Orange Money checkout tests ]
Orange Money held about 78% of Botswana's mobile money customers in 2024, ahead of MyZaka and Smega; test your payment page against it.
-
[ Bing matters more than usual ]
Google took 92.29% of Botswana searches in September 2026 and Bing 6.93%, a share worth tracking alongside Google for local SEO.
-
[ A landlocked route to the cables ]
BoFiNet reaches WACS through Namibia and EASSy through neighbours, and raised its cross-border capacity to 1 Tbit/s via South Africa.

Residential Turbo, Residential Flex and Mobile. There are no ISP static addresses and no datacenter IPv4 for Botswana, so a fixed monthly IP is not available. Use Turbo for scraping operator sites and rank tracking. Use Flex when the job needs one city or one ASN. Choose Mobile when the target app treats phone networks as more trustworthy.
-
Traffic is billed per GB. Turbo from $2, Flex from $3, Mobile from $4, each dropping as the package grows. Botswana has no per-IP monthly price because there is no ISP or datacenter stock. The one balance covers all three products, which helps when a tariff study needs both residential and mobile views.
-
On Flex, yes. Country, region, city, ASN and ZIP filters let you stay on Gaborone or keep every request on Mascom through AS37014. Smaller places such as Maun appear only when the pool has live devices there. Turbo and Mobile pick the country and rotate across available Botswana exits.
-
Rotation by default, with sticky sessions on Turbo and Flex when a login has to keep one address. Flex lets you set the session time in minutes and restrict exits to Windows or Android devices. Mobile addresses change like any prepaid phone on Orange or BTC. A Botswana address held for weeks is not something we offer.
-
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, all on the same credentials. UDP runs on Turbo; Flex is TCP only. Mail ports are possible only on Residential Turbo and only after support reviews your use case. Infrastructure logs are standard and kept for up to three months, and they never contain traffic content.
-
Credentials show up in the dashboard about ten seconds after payment. If the Botswana pool does not connect or reports the wrong location, write to support within 24 hours for a refund. The refund covers technical problems, not a change of plans. A small first package is the safe way to start.

Yes. The Data Protection Act 18 of 2024 came into force on 14 January 2025 and replaced the 2018 Act, which never took effect. The Information and Data Protection Commission enforces it. Collecting public bundle prices is fine. Collecting names and numbers of people is regulated, and a proxy does not change that.
