Because Bruneian sites, ads and search results are set for visitors in the sultanate. A Bruneian IP shows B$ prices, local delivery options and Google results in Malay and English as residents see them. Teams expanding from Malaysia or Singapore use it to check pricing pages, ad placements and app behaviour before launch.
Brunei proxies on Bruneian residential IP addresses
Bruneian addresses for research and QA in one of Southeast Asia's smallest markets. Residential Turbo and Flex cover it, and a small mobile pool adds a handful of carrier addresses. No ISP or datacenter IPs exist for Brunei.
All three retail operators, DST, imagine and Progresif, run on one wholesale network. Unified National Networks took over the country's telecom infrastructure on 4 September 2019.
Bruneian mobile addresses on DST, Progresif and imagine, rotating or sticky, from $4 a GB.
Bruneian home IPs on Turbo and Flex, city and ASN targeting, sticky sessions, from $2 a GB.
Why GeekProxy:
-
[ Brunei proxy on the UNN backbone ]
Unified National Networks (AS10094) has held Brunei's telecom infrastructure since September 2019. Every retail ISP in the country rides on it.
-
[ Google search in Malay and English ]
Google handles the large majority of Bruneian searches, so a local IP shows the Malay and English results residents actually get.
-
[ B$ prices at par with Singapore ]
The Brunei dollar trades at par with the Singapore dollar, so compare B$ prices with Singapore stores without conversion noise.
-
[ Borneo-IX in Bandar Seri Begawan ]
Borneo-IX in the capital lists 11 networks on PeeringDB, and the SEA-ME-WE 3, SJC and AAG cables land in Brunei.
-
[ New data rules from January 2026 ]
The Personal Data Protection Order 2025 was enacted on 8 January 2025, with most duties starting on 1 January 2026.

Residential Turbo and Residential Flex are the main tools. Mobile exists too, but the pool is small: a handful of addresses, and availability changes during the day. Brunei has no ISP static and no datacenter IPv4 in our catalogue. Use Turbo for scraping and SERPs, Flex for district or ASN filters.
-
Turbo starts at $2 a GB and Flex at $3 a GB, both cheaper on bigger packages. Mobile is $4 a GB when addresses are free. There is no monthly per-IP tariff for Brunei, as neither ISP nor datacenter stock exists. One balance pays for every product, including tests in Malaysia or Singapore.
-
Residential Flex filters by country, region, city, ASN and ZIP, so the Brunei-Muara district or the capital can be set where live exits exist. Turbo targets the country as a whole and rotates. Mobile is country-level per connection. With a market this size, a narrow filter may return few exits at night.
-
Rotating by default on Turbo and Flex, with sticky sessions when a form or login must stay on one address. Flex sets the session length in minutes and can restrict exits to Windows or Android devices. The few mobile addresses rotate with the carrier. A Bruneian IP reserved for a month is not offered.
-
Every product works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 with one login. UDP is on Turbo; Flex is TCP only. Mail ports are offered only on Residential Turbo, opened by support after it reviews your use case. Infrastructure logs are standard, kept up to three months, and contain no traffic content.
-
The credentials land in your dashboard about ten seconds after payment. If the Bruneian pool will not connect or shows another country, write to support within 24 hours for a refund. That covers technical faults. In a small pool, test your target with a small top-up first.

The Personal Data Protection Order 2025 sets duties for any organisation that collects personal data, most of them in force from 1 January 2026. AITI is expected to act as the responsible authority. A proxy does not shift those duties onto us. Collecting B$ prices is not personal data. Collecting names and phone numbers from local listings is.
