Burundi proxies on Burundian residential addresses

Burundian IPs come from two residential pools. Residential Turbo starts at $2 a GB and carries UDP; Residential Flex starts at $3 a GB and filters by city and ASN. Mobile, ISP and datacenter addresses for Burundi are not offered.
Three languages are official here: Kirundi, French and, since 2014, English. Gitega is the political capital. Bujumbura is the largest city and the home of the BDIXP exchange.

Why GeekProxy:

  • [ Burundi proxy for trilingual QA ]

A site that serves Kirundi, French or English by location can be checked in all three versions from one Burundian address.

  • [ Ad checks for Burundian audiences ]

Campaigns geotargeted to Burundi render only to a local address; seen from Nairobi or Kigali, the slot shows another advertiser.

  • [ Network targeting by Burundian ASN ]

Flex filters by ASN, so you can ask for Econet Leo (AS37336) or Viettel Burundi, the company behind Lumitel (AS327799).

  • [ Local routing through BDIXP Bujumbura ]

BDIXP opened in Bujumbura on 21 March 2014 so that Burundian networks exchange local traffic inside the country.

  • [ Burundi prices in francs, on UTC+2 ]

Local shops and operators quote in Burundian francs, and the country runs on Central Africa Time, so schedule snapshots to Bujumbura hours.

  • A Burundian residential IP. Local news sites, operator portals and ad networks decide what to show by location, and from abroad you often get the wrong language or a generic page. NGOs, researchers and app teams use it to see Burundi as a local user does: French or Kirundi pages, prices in francs, regional ad slots.

  • Residential Turbo and Residential Flex, nothing else. There are no mobile, ISP or datacenter addresses for Burundi. Turbo is the default: cheapest per GB, UDP included, country-level rotation. Pick Flex when a test needs Bujumbura only, one network by ASN, or exits on Windows or Android devices. A fixed monthly Burundian IP is not something we can sell.

  • Turbo starts at $2 a GB and Flex at $3 a GB. Both get cheaper as volume grows. Billing is per gigabyte, never per address, so a light weekly check of a few Burundian sites costs very little. One balance covers both pools, and it also pays for any other country in the 187-country residential pool.

  • Yes, on Residential Flex. It filters by country, region, city, ASN and ZIP, so Bujumbura alone or the Econet Leo network (AS37336) is a setting, not a ticket. Results depend on which exits are live, and Burundi is a small market. Turbo takes the country and rotates across whatever Burundian addresses are online.

  • Both pools rotate by default. Both also keep sticky sessions when a form or a login must stay on one IP, and on Flex you set that lifetime in minutes. A static Burundian address for 30 days is not in our catalogue, because there is no ISP stock for the country.

  • HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 run on one set of credentials. UDP works on Turbo, while Flex carries TCP only. Mail ports are available only on Residential Turbo and only after support reviews your request. Infrastructure logs of the standard kind are kept up to three months; traffic content is never recorded.

  • About ten seconds after payment the login appears in your dashboard. If the Burundian pool does not connect, shows the wrong country or runs far below normal speed, open a ticket within 24 hours for a refund. Start with a small top-up. In a small market it pays to confirm the pool covers your target before a big order.

  • The telecom regulator is ARCT. Econet Leo, Viettel's Lumitel and the incumbent Onatel ran the mobile networks at the end of 2024, and Lyca Mobile received a licence in October 2025. The .bi domain is run by the Centre National de l'Informatique. Our Burundian exits are residential and sit on whichever of these networks the pool reaches.
