Because Ghanaian services decide a lot by location. Mobile money onboarding, cedi prices in online shops, operator bundle pages and the Google results someone in Accra or Kumasi gets all depend on the visitor's country. Fintech teams test KYC and wallet flows this way. Agencies verify that Ghana-targeted ads really run, and SEO teams track local rankings.
Ghana proxies on residential and mobile Ghanaian IPs
For Ghana we have Residential Turbo and Flex traffic from the 187-country pool and about 90 mobile addresses on Ghanaian carriers. ISP static and datacenter IPs are not part of the Ghana offer.
Accra hosts three internet exchanges, GIXA, Accra IX and LINX Accra. MTN Ghana alone counted 28.4 million subscribers in Q2 2024.
Ghanaian mobile addresses on MTN, Telecel and AT, about 90 in the pool, rotating or sticky, from $4 a GB.
Ghanaian home IPs on Turbo and Flex, city and ASN targeting, sticky sessions, from $2 a GB.
Why GeekProxy:
-
[ Ghana proxy for MoMo and fintech QA ]
MTN mobile money was accepted for a 2018 Ghanaian IPO, a first for any IPO; wallet onboarding and payment screens are worth testing locally.
-
[ Mobile IPs on MTN, Telecel and AT ]
MTN runs on Scancom's AS30986, Telecel took over Vodafone Ghana in 2023, and AT is state-owned since 2021; Flex filters by ASN.
-
[ Three exchanges in one city ]
PeeringDB lists 24 members at GIXA, 22 at Accra IX and 8 at LINX Accra in October 2026, so Ghanaian content stays close to users.
-
[ Four cables on the coast ]
SAT-3/WASC, MainOne, GLO-1 and ACE land in Ghana and link it along the west coast to Europe and Asia.
-
[ English SERPs, GMT clock ]
Google answered 96.79% of Ghanaian searches in September 2026; English is the official language and the country runs on GMT all year.

Residential Turbo, Residential Flex and Mobile. Ghana has no ISP static addresses and no datacenter IPv4 with us, so a monthly fixed IP is off the table. Turbo suits volume scraping and rank tracking. Flex suits Accra or Kumasi alone, or a single carrier by ASN. Mobile suits wallet apps and sites that trust MTN or Telecel phone traffic.
-
Residential Turbo begins at $2 a GB, Flex at $3 a GB and Mobile at $4 a GB, with volume discounts on each. We have no per-IP monthly tariff for Ghana because there is no ISP or datacenter stock. One balance pays for all three, so a MoMo test on mobile and a price crawl on Turbo share a top-up.
-
With Flex, yes. Filters for country, region, city, ASN and ZIP let you hold traffic on Kumasi, or on MTN through AS30986. Northern towns such as Tamale appear when devices there are online. Turbo and Mobile select Ghana as a country and rotate across the live pool.
-
Rotating, unless you switch on a sticky session, which Turbo and Flex both offer for logins and long forms. Flex also sets the session length in minutes and can limit exits to Windows or Android devices. Mobile addresses change the way an MTN or AT phone's address changes. Static Ghanaian IPs rented by the month are not in the catalogue.
-
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 work on a single login. Turbo supports UDP and Flex is TCP only. Mail ports are opened only on Residential Turbo, after support learns what you plan to send. Infrastructure logs are standard, kept for up to three months, with no traffic content in them.
-
About ten seconds after payment you will find the credentials in your dashboard. If the Ghanaian pool fails to connect or shows the wrong country, message support within 24 hours and the money comes back. Refunds cover technical issues, not changed plans. Start with a small package if you are testing a new target.
-
If you collect personal data, yes. The Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) is enforced by the Data Protection Commission, and every data controller and processor must register with it. Public cedi prices are fine to collect. Names and phone numbers of Ghanaians are personal data, whatever IP the request uses.
