Because many sites decide content by IP. With a Sierra Leonean address you see local search results, ad placements bought for Freetown, telecom offers on Africell or Orange pages and prices quoted in leones. NGOs, researchers and app teams use it to check how a service behaves for a user in Bo or Kenema.
Sierra Leone proxies on residential and mobile Sierra Leonean IPs
Sierra Leonean IPs come in three forms here: Residential Turbo, Residential Flex and roughly 60 mobile addresses. That is the whole list. GeekProxy has no ISP static or datacenter IPv4 for Sierra Leone.
English is the official language and Krio the one you hear on Freetown streets. Since July 2022 prices are quoted in new leones, three zeros shorter than before.
Sierra Leonean mobile addresses on Orange, Africell and Qcell, about 60 in the pool, rotating or sticky, from $4 a GB.
Sierra Leonean home IPs on Turbo and Flex, city and ASN targeting, sticky sessions, from $2 a GB.
Why GeekProxy:
-
[ Price checks after the redenomination ]
On 1 July 2022 the leone became SLE at 1,000 old leones to one new, so scrapers must tell SLL and SLE prices apart.
-
[ Mobile IPs on Africell and Orange ]
Africell (AS36988) calls itself the market leader since its 2005 launch, with Orange (AS37164) and Qcell (AS328297) as the other networks.
-
[ Sierra Leone proxy for Android traffic ]
Android runs 71.29% of devices in Sierra Leone (Statcounter, September 2026); Flex can limit exits to Android to match that profile.
-
[ Freetown on the ACE cable ]
The Africa Coast to Europe cable landed in Freetown in 2011, and Michcom-IX in Freetown now exchanges traffic for Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia.
-
[ Search tracking on Google ]
Google handles 96.63% of searches and Bing 3.03%, so one engine, checked from a local address, covers almost the whole market.

Residential Turbo, Residential Flex and Mobile. No ISP static and no datacenter addresses are sold for Sierra Leone. Turbo is the low cost option for crawling and SERP work. Flex is for one city or one operator ASN. Mobile, around 60 addresses, is for targets that check whether traffic comes from a phone network.
-
Prices start at $2 a GB on Turbo and $3 a GB on Flex, with lower rates as packages grow. Mobile costs $4 a GB. Sierra Leone has no per IP plan, so you pay only for traffic used. A couple of gigabytes is plenty to test a target before buying more.
-
Residential Flex filters by country, region, city, ASN and ZIP. Ask it for Freetown, or for Orange Sierra Leone AS37164 only, and the pool narrows to match. Turbo stays at country level and rotates the whole Sierra Leonean pool. Mobile is chosen by country on each connection.
-
Rotation is the default on both residential pools. Sticky sessions hold one IP while a login or a payment flow finishes; Flex lets you fix the TTL in minutes and choose Windows or Android exits. A fixed Sierra Leonean IP for a month is not something we sell, since there is no ISP static stock.
-
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, all on one set of credentials. UDP is supported on Residential Turbo, while Flex carries TCP only. Mail ports can be opened on Turbo alone, through support and after a short look at the task. Infrastructure logs are standard, kept up to three months, without traffic content.
-
About ten seconds after payment, automatically. If an address will not connect, lands outside Sierra Leone or is far slower than stated, contact support within 24 hours for a refund. That window covers technical faults. A plan that changed after purchase is not one.
-
Check the currency code, not just the number. Old leones (SLL) stayed legal tender until 1 January 2024, so archives and some listings still mix both scales. A price of 50,000 may be SLL while 50 is the same amount in SLE. Normalise to SLE before comparing, and keep the scrape date with each record.
