Tanzanian sites, app stores and ad networks read your IP before deciding what to show. With a local address you get shilling prices, Swahili and English results for Dar es Salaam, Jiji.co.tz listings and campaigns aimed at Tanzania. Typical jobs are SEO in Swahili, ad checks, price research and mobile app testing before a launch.
Tanzania proxies for Swahili search and mobile apps
If your audience reads Swahili, you need to see Tanzanian results. We offer Residential Turbo and Flex traffic for Tanzania and about 640 mobile IPs. There are no ISP static or datacenter IPv4 addresses for the country.
Phones generated 70.2% of Tanzanian page views in September 2026. Tigo now trades as Yas, and the TIX exchange runs nodes in six cities, Zanzibar included.
Tanzanian mobile addresses on Vodacom, Airtel, Yas and Halotel, about 640 in the pool, rotating or sticky, from $4 a GB.
Tanzanian home IPs on Turbo and Flex, city and ASN targeting, sticky sessions, from $2 a GB.
Why GeekProxy:
-
[ Tanzania proxy for Swahili SEO ]
Swahili is the official national language and English a working one; Google, with 96.57% of searches, ranks the two versions of a page separately.
-
[ Yas, the former Tigo ]
Tigo Tanzania now operates as Yas (AS37035), and tigo.co.tz redirects there. Old carrier lists in your QA plan need updating.
-
[ Vodacom, Airtel and Halotel too ]
Vodacom Tanzania (AS36908), Airtel (AS37133) and Halotel (AS327885), owned by Viettel with 18,000 km of fibre, also run mobile networks.
-
[ App QA on a phone-first market ]
At 70.2% mobile traffic, a Tanzanian app or checkout behaves differently on carrier IPs than on office broadband; test with mobile exits.
-
[ Six exchange points, not one ]
TIX, run by the ISP association TISPA, has nodes in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Mbeya and Zanzibar: six cities, not one.

Residential Turbo, Residential Flex and Mobile, and that is the full list. ISP static IPs and datacenter IPv4 are not available for Tanzania. Turbo suits bulk scraping and rank tracking. Flex fits when you need Dar es Salaam, Arusha or one network by ASN. Mobile is the right call for app testing on Vodacom, Airtel, Yas or Halotel.
-
Residential Turbo from $2 a GB. Flex from $3 a GB, Mobile from $4 a GB, and larger volumes lower the rate on all three. With no ISP or datacenter stock for Tanzania there is no monthly per-IP fee. A single balance can be split between residential and mobile however the project needs.
-
Residential Flex supports country, region, city, ASN and ZIP filters. Choose Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar as the location, or Vodacom's AS36908 as the network. Turbo and Mobile select the country and rotate within it. National search results are fine at country level; local packs for one city need Flex.
-
Both residential products rotate by default and both keep sticky sessions when a sign-in or an M-Pesa payment must end on the same IP. Flex sets the session length in minutes and can limit exits to Windows or Android. Mobile IPs move with the carrier's assignments. No Tanzanian IP is rented as a fixed monthly address.
-
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 on one set of credentials. UDP runs on Residential Turbo, and Flex is TCP only. Mail ports exist on Turbo alone; support opens them once the use case is clear. Our standard infrastructure logs are kept up to three months and contain no traffic content.
-
Credentials arrive automatically, around ten seconds after payment. Report a technical issue within 24 hours, for example a Tanzanian pool that will not connect or a wrong geo, and we refund it. A refund for simply changing your mind is not offered, so try a small top-up first.

The Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 came into force on 1 May 2023 and is the main data law. Prices and SERP positions are not personal data. Names and phone numbers from classified ads are, and you are responsible for them under that act. A proxy changes the IP you send from, nothing else.
